A big knife that can tackle any job in the kitchen. If rock chopping is your preferred method of choice, this is the knife for you. Made from Damasteel’s Thor pattern stainless steel damascus, it’s heat-treated to 61 HRC so gets razor sharp and stays that way.
The handle is made from twenty-one individual elements giving it a unique aesthetic. The beautifully figured bog oak is 4,000 years old and is from Ireland. It is paired up with some Juma white dragon scale bolsters which are complemented with green/tiffany blue/green G10 liners & spacers. It’s all finished off with two 5mm brass pins and an 8mm mosaic pin featuring my maker’s mark (oak leaf). All the elements have been sculpted to fit comfortably in the hand through a number of grips. The knife although large feels very nimble due to being very well balanced.
As ever, the knife comes in a Bourne Knives wooden presentation box.
