How long does it take to make a knife?

I’m afraid that custom knives cannot be made overnight. Most knives take about 25 hours for me to make from scratch. Also, as a serving Army Officer, I have to prioritise my day job. If you add the waiting list to these issues, a custom knife can take 2-3 months from commission to shipping.

Shipping costs:

In 2023 all shipping, both UK and overseas will be free of charge. Just choose “Free shipping” at checkout.

Age restrictions:

You must be 18 years old or over to purchase a knife from Bourne Knives. Proof of age may be requested before shipping.

Returns & refunds:

You may return your knife if you are unhappy with it upon receipt. You must inform me of this within 3 days of receiving your knife. Any returns must be returned by registered/tracked post only and at the buyers expense. The knife must be unused and free from any damage. The knife should not be used for anything other than its intended purpose.

Where is your workshop?

Currently we live in shropshire. However, due to Army life, we tend to move every couple of years.
