Whether your knife is needed for a professional kitchen, for your own kitchen, or indeed for in the field, it can be made perfect for you or for that someone special in your life.
There are a number of factors that need to be considered when deciding on what kind of knife to build; I’ve tried to capture the essence of them in the knife enquiry form on this page.
The price of your custom knife will depend upon a number of factors, they are: size of the blade; the type of steel used, the chosen handle materials and the complexity of the build. As a rough guide, custom knives generally range between £300-£600. All knives come in a bespoke Bourne Knives wooden presentation box.
For each custom knife, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required after the design is finalised. You will be updated with photos and videos throughout the build and when complete to your satisfaction, the remaining 50% will be required to be paid before the knife is shipped. Shipping costs will be factored into the overall cost of the blade, as will the wooden presentation box.
The custom enquiry form is non-binding; there is no expectation you will actually commission a custom knife. Its purpose is to allow you to narrow down what you think you want from a knife and for me to give you an idea of the overall cost and timeframe.
